"Pleasantly relaxed island-Doom with front lady. Coming from the English Midlands, ALUNAH celebrate on their second album a completely unagitated, knee deep rooted in the seventies, with various psychedelic sprinklings and Stoner-groove elements garnished genre variant. Through the melodic- engrossed vocal style of singer / guitarist Soph Day, here and there memories of Jex Thoth become awake. But unlike the Americans ALUNAH sound much less psychedelic and rock significantly more straight. Best fits the comparison with the Brit-Doomsters The Wounded Kings, because in both bands the Black Sabbath and Pentagram influences similar clearly come to the fore. ALUNAH dooms here but despite all heaviness on a pleasantly dreamy level."
